A rare unicorn. The Rolex reference 5504 is a strange but fascinating model as it can be found as both an Air-King and an Explorer. These are the types of vintage Rolex watches that collectors go crazy for. Unfortunately the present Rolex appears to have received a refreshed and re-finished dial that has had its "Air-King" text removed. The combination of its waffle-like texture dial coupled with its black leather strap make for a fantastically charming and elegant Rolex watch.
